Hyundai HT’s two handle-type instant auto-lock door lock models (TDL-A4001F, TDL-A5001F) have been awarded the Winner prize at the 2026 Asia Design Prize.
Established in 2016, the Asia Design Prize is one of the largest international design competitions in Asia.
Based on Asia’s design heritage, it serves as a global design platform that presents new standards and future directions for the global design ecosystem.
In this year’s competition, a total of 1,515 entries from 31 countries were submitted.
Following evaluations by an international jury panel, 329 works were selected as final award winners.
The award-winning handle-type instant auto-lock door locks were recognized for their design excellence, which naturally integrates function and form.
Centered on an instant auto-lock mechanism that secures the door immediately upon closing, the products received the Winner distinction in recognition of their outstanding design completion on the international stage.
